used sport ss vs. sport tt

I always thought the sport ss models hold a higher value than the sport tt models in the preowned market. But judging what I see here in the for sale section, tt models going at least $2000 or more than the ss models. I am looking for a tt GMT II preowned, but discouraged by the price difference. I may have to go ss.

I think you need to compare residual value vs MSRP and not TT vs SS. TT loses more value vs MSRP than SS.

TT start at a higher MSRP and sell for more than SS, later on. The depreciation may be greater, but you're correct to think they cost more than a comparable SS when sold used. The only one I seem to see that might not follow this rule is the Daytona. I rarely see a SS Daytona sell for the lowest Daytona, pre-owned price. The absolute cheapest Daytonas I see advertised are TT.
