100% authentic ROLEX DOUBLE RED SEADWELLER PATENT PENDING MK1 1665 PROTOTYPE BR. Watch was never polished, has been tested and its in EXCELLENT working condition. Cal. 1570. Serial number 2,1xxx276 dates to 1967. I got the watch from my grandfather as inheritance, I was told that the watch is worth much more than a normal Rolex. Auction starts at 999 ! Good luck! Also reported. An obvious scam and based on the previous one sold (225,000$)a lot of money can be made.

So the scam here isn't a counterfeit watch - it's stealing photos from a genuine and rare watch, then pretending not to know how valuable it is? The scammer wants to attract an over-eager buyer and never ship the watch? "Paliaf1" has ZERO feedback, which should be a huge red flag.

Of course, it also strains credulity that the seller knows SOoooo much about the item, movement, date, and provenance, but has no idea how much its worth.

This forum is a great education.
