Few scans of the 5513 from the weekend

Few relaxing scans of the new little guy over the weekend... the mixture of the faded bezel along with the black matte dial and the heavy puffy lume has this POP effect that I can not describe. At certain angle... the dots just seem to want to pop out of the dial. I need some of our strong vintage seller's lighting skill to capture the essence of this dial!

Anyhow.. here are a few scans:

Ava says Daddy!! I want to try it too!!!

Looking good on Ava's wrist!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and good week ahead!

Best,

Fred

Thank you guys and yes indeed... I feel very blessed and very thankful here.

Ava has always enjoyed playing with Daddy's toys... here she is at almost 2.. playing with another.. ( I do think she likes the vintage one more!).

Great pics of your lovely family and your watch .

Mate that insert just stops me in my tracks every time I see it.

Hey Fred is there some damage to the bezel by the 40 marker? - 4th pic down

You know your wrist is to small for your watch when the face of the watch is as big as your hand

Thanks for the sweet pictures

Thank you Russ! Thank you George! Thank you Rich! Ava is a super star.. the other day she said to me(she is 4+).. Daddy.. look at the word AVATAR... they stole my name and hid my name in there.. A.V.A... I was like haha!!!! She is a peice of work haha!!!

Regarding pic#4. There is a minor blemish on the ring but you know what? for a 45 yr old watch.. it does not bother me one bit.. it's just a phenomenal piece... loving it!

Dude, 5513 is a stunner, but Ava is stealing the show! I'd be a proud papa if I were you.

Fred I think she loves your vintage collection, but she doesn't want to give it back. Nice pictures.

Mik you bet... I am very proud of Ava for sure!

John... Ava likes these watches.. but you know Riley is getting pretty use to them too... and likes to go after it when he sees one on my wrist.. this will be an interesting fight haha!!

Great week ahead guys,

Fred

Very nice 5513, congrats. But my guess is that the faded insert comes from a Blue Tudor Submariner, this kind of very light blueish patina is characteristic.
