I have not seen it, but its your watch... do what ever makes you happy.
This discussion has been done over and over again and my feeling has never changed. Make your watch your own... do whatever mods make you happy. If you plan on selling it or trading it down the road, just hang on to the original parts and put them back on. Other than that, don't worry about he "frankenwatch" comments. You put less money into a watch than a vehicle (usually) and no one has a problem with custom wheels, ineterior, etc. with a car, why should it matter on a watch. It's yours - do what you want. I think the blue would look cool on the sub.
