Never really had much of a use for it. It looks ugly without it though.

Everything from cooking to sitting in the sun. Timing my kids homework to its most common use as a countdown to my kids going to bed so that I can have a rest.

I also use my GMTs in exactly the same way.

I'm amazed how much in one day I actually need an elapsed time and because I have problems remembering simple things, it's proves invaluable.

For its intended purpose, calculating diving bottom time. Nowadays with computers its not necessary but in a potentially dangerous game redundancy is a smart, safe move.

I have the Yachtmaster, and I use its bezel multiple times each day, for cooking, parking meters, etc. I don't think I could have a watch without a bezel.
