I phoned up about one tonight, it was an 09 year and have got it for about 1K stirling under RRP. I then said I would get back, then cooled off as the thought it wasn't that much of a bargain.

Did I do wrong? should I have bought it or should I pay another 1K and buy new? I do love them, although my grail is still a WG on leather strap

I can't get this watch out of my head. Never loved white face watches (always liked them) but this white Daytona is the most beautiful watch I've ever seen.

I don't care for gold watches. But that Daytona on the beat up leather strap is dang sexy! Dang sexy!

Thanks Jeremy for posting a Daytona with plenty of history behind it! Absolutely amazing!

These 2 are mine with a lot less history behind it---both less than 2 years old!

Thanks Sixers! It really is a great watch. At first I thought it would be a bit too dressy, but the first time I wore it with jeans and a t-shirt, I knew it was going to work out in my collection. I don't like watches that I can only wear in certain situations. All my watches need to be well-rounded. Daytona fits the bill.
