Best Way To Pay

Does using the paypal "Payment is for friends and family/Bank Account" option to pay for a $5,000 watch, this way there is no fee to both parties, offer any protection to the buyer ? If there is no protection at all, what is my best option to pay ? Let's assume we are dealing with a trusted seller at the TRF.

Bank transfer. Some banks allow you to do it directly from your online banking account.

It offers no protection at all and is a violation of their TOS. Pay using your credit card or bank account, or wire the seller the money, whichever both parties agree on. I've bought two watches from trusted sellers on here. I used paypal both times, and I paid the fee. Not a hitch either time, and my watches made it to me just fine.

Does that mean you will ask the seller to bill you at your Paypal account with a detail descriptions of the watch in the transaction, so to establish a reference point and trail, in case a future dispute ? Thanks guys

The seller can creat an invoice saying anything you both want on there. It can even include a link to their TRF thread.
