That blue dial is just too beautiful. I have been considering getting the very same model in the near future. Just looks great. Congrats.

How did I almost miss this?!?!?! Congrats Charles! That blue dial really pops! It is really interesting to see how your Rolex collection is shaping up! I think you almost have all the basis covered now! Wow!

Thanks Sam!!!
I appreciate the kind words. I am now planning to thoroughly enjoy the watches in my collection as I pursue my golden grail:)

I am also glad to see how much you are enjoying that 1655.
That watch is a STUNNER and it always looks phenomenal with your attire.

Thanks Dalip!
The dial is very unique on this one. I am a fan of the color-shift dials and this one certainly doesn't disappoint. More subtle and deeper than the Hulk, darker than my 16613.

Does Rolex make this same watch DJII with blue face with diamonds on the face? According to the Rolex book, it is not available and I am not confident my AD is sure. My partner would LOVE this watch however we need diamonds at the hours.

Thank you!!

Blue dials are really gorgeous, especially on the new DJ II, and although other brands offer them a "Rolex blue" dial is simply stunning.

Check out this 'family photo' of blue dials at the Rolex Boutique in NYC. One in every size plus the 34 mm Oyster Date.

I have the 2012 Rolex Dial catalog and I do not see a blue diamond dial available for the DJII. It is too bad, because it would be gorgeous.

Thanks Jon! That is a really cool picture. I have owned a 16613 TT Submariner for 16 years so I have always been partial to Rolex blue.
