Paris - where should I go...?
Hey guys,
I'm off to Paris with my girlfriend for the weekend, back Monday (long weekend in the UK) I hope (read: want) to combine this trip with some Rolex AD or dealer browsing - does anyone know any decent places to go? Would be ideal if the area also has some shoe/bag shops so I can send off the gf...

In the 2nd district (close to Place de la Concorde):
For new Rolex watches you can try WEMPE at the corner of Rue Royale and Rue St Honoree. btw, rue st honoree is shopping heaven...for the gf.. For used Rolex next door to WEMPE you have MMC, 71 rue St honoree... In the 7th district: used Rolex: Romain Rea 26, rue du Bac...the area is also shopping heaven for the gf! Et voila! Hope it helps mate |

There are 2 AD's next to The Westin Paris (3 Rue De Castiglione). Paris is great, have fun !
Here is my 16610 with a famous landmark in the background !

The Rolex boutique on rue de Rennes right near St Germain des Pres in the 6th is great. Combine with a visit to the boutiques on the way to place St Sulpice and then a walk in the Luxembourg Gardens to maximize the amount of time you get to spend trying on Rolexes.
I've dealt with Alexis, who is quite good. |

You should go and see Montres modernes . They are top end second hand watch dealers . Two outlets :
One on Rue Faubourg St.Honoré , 71 or the other on Rue Marbeuf , 9 You will not regret it . Ask for Carla with my compliments , she will double the prices at once |

Jean Mick - 100/102 rue La Boétie. Friendliest dealer in Paree. There are also some interesting second hand dealers along Rue St Honore. Plenty in this street for your GF also (make sure you have a big credit card balance when shopping in this street).
What's your pleasure....? |

The Galeries Lafayette is a great place to go for Jewellery and Watches - there's a Rolex Boutique, as well as Omega, Cartier and most other top brands. They're very picky about photos though, I learnt that the hard way Lots of designer clothes as well, I'm sure your girlfriend will be in heaven

Has anyone been to Paris recently? Was wondering if Dubail has a good selection or Daytona Two tones available or are willing to discount.
Thanks. |
