John, I think you want a Diver so here are a few pics to convince you of getting one. Taken during a wonderful trip to the Cayman Islands. You can get a BNIB or LNIB Diver from one of our trusted sellers in the range of $14.7-$13.7K USD. No need to spend $18.9K at full retail.

With that budget, surely a Diver and a 15300 would make be a better choice?

Thanks for the wonderfule pics. Man the AP-diver i something else.

The prices your talking about, sounds pretty good - for a new one?! The seller in stockholm are asking around 16000k for a used AP scuba. Is the scuba more expensive then the orignal AP diver?

best regards John

best regards John

Yes the price range is for either a brand new one or one that looks like new with a few days of wrist time. You should contact DavidSW (David), Mosco (Greg) or Bodybump (Oscar) here on TRF and see what they can do for you. Your call but pull the trigger soon.

John

You are asking the right questions, sounds like you have a budget in mind and to me you are entering the "fun part". Which is the hunt.

Getting to go explore a bunch of watch brands knowing you might come home with something...Enjoy it.

If you have a chance to try on all of the AP's mentioned here on this thread, that would make for a great trip, and I guarantee you will fall for one of them.

If the price is right for the one you want - do it

Having just received the diver myself - it's a wonderful watch...give it a shot - but I would also call it a "gateway" watch - you're probably gonna want another one.

Have fun on your trip and let us know what happens!

Well, diver is my first AP and within a month after i bought it, i am checking with AD on new 15400 now. Lol.

Daytona is nowhere near AP. Well, no point to get a gold daytona. You are better off with a ss daytona plus a diver with your budget. ss daytona is more versatile and liquid than gold daytona.

Agreed. Just picked one up last week, and I cannot stop looking at it. Amazing piece.

I'm in NW burbs. You?

I have some crappy iPhone pics I'll post. I've been meaning to take some nice ones with the DSLR, but have been busy.

Funny thing is I almost went with a diver after reading your review, but felt a 15202 needs to be in the collection, and LB had one for sale that was just cherry.

Some crappy iphone pics, but you'll get the idea. I need to take some quality ones with the DSLR. The subtleties of this watch are captivating.

Great looking 15202... My RO has that beautiful blue dial too!

For the OP, take a trip to an AD and try them all on, and then decide. Either one you choose, you won't be sorry you chose AP!
