Your watch is not 'my cup of tea' either. but all that means in UK and Canada is:
Good for you, but not to my taste".

If we all had the same taste, i'd be a boring planet.
Sounds like an honest, up front bloke.
Move on.
I beg to differ... it was a tactless and unnecessary remark, quite likely stemming from jealousy If anyone cannot make a constructive comment, then better to not comment at all.

Has anyone else recieved negative comments about their watch? If so do they bother you?
I think your watch is very smart and with useful functionality as well as Rolex good looks! If I could not say anything nice and/or constructive I would keep my mouth shut

lighten up dude. this is only a watch forum.

and while you did not specifically call anyone out, name calling of any kind "idiot" is frowned up. this is only friendly advice......because if a mod catches it, they typically don't appreciate things like that.

Yeah ok, it was a bit strong...but if someone had broadly insinuated that your watch was a fake when you know it isn't, and he doesn't, that makes him appear a silly person to me, to put it more mildly. Its ok, put it behind me now

That was my first thought since I'm not a two tone guy and I have a pepsi gmt I may have even said something like that not thinking.

I heard something similar from someone with an Omega. Went on and on about how he liked "real" watches and didn't "go with the pack" and get a Rolex. A couple years later he asked me to help him find a vintage GMT and a Sub!
