Do Rolex do leather strap dress watches new?

My dad is looking for a new watch, he wants a dress watch with leather strap and a simple clean dial face.
Do Rolex do anything like that new from a store?
He is looking at Omegas and other brands but I think he should be going Rolex, if there is anything out there like that.

You could try the Cellini line but they are manual wind and precious metal only. The Prince is a good retro looking watch but better to buy the cellini line second owner rather than pay full retail.Or look for a used vintage DJ or DD President 1803 or 18038 without the gold bracelet then put it on a strap.

I agree with padi - the earlier Cellini models provide further variety from which to choose IF you are willing to consider a second hand watch - maybe in the US$2K - 4K range)
There are some very elegant gold & white gold models on leather bands. A bit of searching on the net will soon show you some examples so you can see whether that is what he would like.

I'd put a DJ or DD on a strap over the Cellini.

Guys - there are plenty of brand new Rolex choices on a leather strap currently available in the newest June 2012 price list and current 2012 Rolex catalog.

Visit an AD an see what you get: Datejusts, DayDates, Daytonas, many more !
