Can't lose with the M5, make sure you get an aftermarket exhaust I suggest Tubi or SuperSprint

CONGRATS, im partial to it myself ;)

My 2nd M5, great mate to my other RUF beast ;)

I would suggest going with a Corsa exhaust.. Relatively inexpensive, refined and very exotic tone/note, such an exotic resonance and echo when cruising over 3k yet no drone inside the cabin with windows up...

Congrats!

I'm a bit biased too...the v10 gets really really addictive. BTW, Interlagos Blue is the fastest color!

Is that some sort of scoop you have installed in the grill?

A very sensible choice, Andreas. However, you'll still dream of the F.

Thank you. And yes I will. But this will satisfy my needs for the time being.

This thing is soooo fast! This is my fifth M car, and Fourth M5. Definitely the best one so far.

Thanks! I also think it was a smarter move than the Ferrari. There is a bunch of expensive things to go wrong on this one too, but keeping fingers crossed.

Yes...google "RPI scoops" and you will find a bunch of information on another board for your m5. Paired with BMC filters, the scoops are one of the first mods new owners do to their e60 m5.

Have fun modding your new Beast!

The M5 has always been the ULTIMATE in every day practicality balanced with near-supercar performance, but to say you've moved your goal posts is the understatement of the century! haha

Good man. You'll love it.

I had the E39 version 8 or 9 years ago in dark blue. Only owned it for about year and I had to sell it as I got a company car :-(
To this day I regret selling it. Sold it for not much more than I what I paid for my ultra-sensible Saab!

In fact - this has made me go and look at the ads for another M5 as the happy shopper/weekend away car! lol

Look into the cost of ownership on these older exotics. Bathe sale price is just the beginning...upkeep and maintenance will cost tons of cash. These cars are for owners that are "flush" in all financials areas of their lives. If you are, then have at it and enjoy. Otherwise, keep working hard and buy one when you can really enjoy her without worrying about a $250 oil change. Just MHO.

Yes, I know the site, I've been a member there for a good 10 years, pretty silent one though.
