GMT-Master (16700) collectable and trade value

Hi Everyone,

I just wonder if a GMT-Master 16700 circa 1998/1999 U serial (last production run?) with luminova "swiss" dial is collectable? Is $3800 a fair trade value or should it be worth more than that (it includes boxes, paper, books, tags)?

Thanks,

I would say no less than $4500., but then again I have a Pepsi and would not part with it for even that amount :)

Anything is collectable...

Belly button lint, baseball cards etc.

Question is...will the thing be worth a gazillion dollars more than today?

By trade value, do you mean "trade in" like at and AD, if so, they need some meat on the bone too..

I would think with Box, papers and accesseries you could get mid $4,000's.

ANY GMT is collectable!
You have to love them. $3,800 is a great deal, if you are buying with all the goodies!
But as John asked for clarification, are you trading in?

Here are some good facts about your watch, it's worth less than a simular 16710....

Thanks Everyone!
That's my watch which I traded (not an AD) for another watch.
I couldn't justify to keep both 16700 and 16710 ... Oh well, I already missed it :(
