Rolex with Tiffany logo on it

I was reading a book from Japan regarding Rolex. Inside the book, it talks about Rolex sold under Tiffany. The dial has Tiffany logo on it. It comes with Tiffany's box as well.

Will the value be significant higher by having Tiffany logo on the dial?

A Tiffany Rolex can be valuable, however, usually not "significantly" more valuable as it is a niche market for dual logo watches..

The problem with Tiffany Rolex watches is that the Tiffany was added after-the-fact and no records exist to be able to accurately determine authenticity. Without an original Tiffany sales receipt and box etc, it just becomes another Rolex with an interesting dial..

A lot were sold though, up until the 70's or 80'd when Rolex demanded that they stop the process.

Only if it comes with matching Tiffany papers.... there is tons of fake Tiffany labeled dials out there, be careful.

perfectly put and hence even if a reputable dealer is selling one i would not touch it as it is almost impossible to tell if all original ,without paperwork.

Great info and I agree, if it doesn't have papers I wouldn't touch it. I don't care who is selling it, without papers it really is almost impossible to verify.

Curious...Tiffany doesn't keep archives? I would have guessed they did...especially being high-end.

No they don't.

I brought this 16013 in to them a couple of years ago.

Manage to wiggle myself upstairs in the Tiffany building to the tech and accounts department.

They squeezed, sniffed and thoroughly checked out the watch and said it looked like one of theirs but since they didn't keep records there's no way of telling.

Your statement is untrue. While Tiffany does have the ability to brand dials inhouse, and did do some Rolex's in that manner, the vast majority were supplied by Rolex with the co-branding from Switzerland. In fact, Tiffany had Rolex supplied spare parts co-branded dials in stock at one time.
