I love my AP, but having AP popularized by this lowlife does not encourage me to get more of them. I do love the brand, but it's frustrating to see such a classic brand, that symbolizes horological perfection, style, precision being used by some rapper to talk about his trash lifestyle.

I will be getting more APs in the future, but I hope that AP tries to distance itself from these associations.

You can't stop a certain type or group of people from buying a brand. All major brands have customers or fans from all ranges of backgrounds. Luxury will attract money whether new money or old money.

Now if you wear it with class is another thing.

For future reference please note that there are many folks within Rock & Roll, Folk, Country, Pop, etc. who popularize the same things you and I both detest, it's not just rappers as you stated.
