Gold GMT question
...Does the 18k ref. 16718 have a bracelet with polished center links? How successful are efforts to restore these bracelets to as new conditon {repolish the links etc.?}

It depends on the condition of your bracelet. However, generally the restoration is very successful. Rolex will restore bracelets, but the cost is quite high. Alternative there is a place in Hong Kong that seems to do a very good job. I think it is www.classicwatchparts.com
If all as you need is a polish of your bracelet, then that is a much easier task and less costly, you should be able to find a qualified local watchmaker to do that to restore the original finish. |

RSC would refinish the bracelet as a part of the service when you get your GMT serviced, but the price would be approx. US $ 500.

..But did the16718 have factory high polished center links or were all the links finished mat?
