Thank you so much for all the praise and good wishes! - It really feels good to get positive feedback.
Some of you asked what happened to my mother. After years of waiting tables at the local diner, my mother put herself through beauty school to become a skin care specialist. I don't know how she was able to do it with working the graveyard shift at night, and shool and me during the day. But she did. And after a few years of working within the business, she opened her own, and it flourished. Combine that with a few good investments during the real estate boom... and lets just say my mom is doing very well. A few years after I moved to Denmark she remarried and had 2 girls. She is my hero, and a true testament to the American Dream. |
