Clinical Definitions (or, how do I describe my relationship with Rolex)

Here are some that came to mind, with an example as to how to use them in everyday conversation, as well.......Hope you have fun reading these, and please do add/create your own definitions and/or show us how to use them!

Rolexasthenia: Rolex weakness, resulting in the purchase of one of more Rolexes
(Ex: It's not my fault I have 10 Rolexes.....I have Rolexasthenia)

Rolexesthesia: The abnormal sensations we get when we are in need of a new Rolex

Rolexkinesis: The uncontrolled and excessive muscle movement forcing one to walk into the nearest Rolex AD

Rolexologist: One who practices the Art of Rolex (Bob Ridley and yes, Jocke, come to mind)

Rolexmania: Obsession with Rolex

Rolexopia: Always seeing Rolexes where ever one goes

Rolexopsy: The act of examining a dead Rolex (as seen in some of Jocke's great picture threads)

Rolexparesis: Weakness when one tries NOT to buy yet another Rolex

Rolexpenia: The condition of having TOO FEW Rolexes

Rolexstatic: Relating to being content with the Rolexes one currently has

Rolexspasm: Contraction of the muscles resulting in multiple recurrent episodes of looking at the Rolex on your wrist, even though you already know what time it is

Rolexptosis: Drooping of the arm resulting from the wearing of a Rolex that is just too big and heavy for your wrist

Rolexpnea: Difficult or abnormal breathing associated with a Rolex purchase

Rolexplegia: Generalized paralysis which can occur as one is trying to leave a Rolex AD so as NOT to buy a Rolex

Rolexphylaxis: A severe reaction that can occur when someone asks to see your Rolex

(And yes, I seem to still have too much free time on my hands......)

Rolexophobia Fear that if you buy just one more Rolex watch, your spouse will divorce you, attempt to beat you up, or worse.

FauxRolexophobi Fear of buying a fake Rolex.

HydroRolexophobia Fear of getting your Rolex wet.

HypoRolexophobia Fear of underwinding your Rolex; HyperRolexophobia Fear of overwinding your Rolex.

Rolex AIDS Abbrev for Rolex Auto-Immume Disease Syndrome. The total lack of interest in picking up another Rolex with a self-winding movement. (No disrespect intended rel. to actual AIDS)

Rolex BPD Abbrev. for Buy Polar Disease - the preceived need to quickly obtain the infamous white-dialed Explorer II.

Rolex PTSD Abbrev for Post Traumatic Service Disease - shock at receipt of final billing from RSC. (No disrespect intended rel. to actual PTSD)

Take it for what its worth......all

Rolexigent - the urgent and pressing need to immediately purchase another Rolex. Right now, today.
