Rb2

Been loving the recent pics that have been posted of the RB2. Anyone know where I can find one to purchase? And if so, what price should I expect to pay for one?

It is a high end watch and not commonly seen in watch shops, but the Miami-Palm Beach area should have bricks and mortar sources for the RB2. Also, Clearwater is the location of the US service center for AP so I can't understand why everybody in Florida doesn't wear APs (just kidding). There are several internet dealers including those found on eBay and Chrono24.

The Vintage Rolex forum posts a list of "okay" internet dealers, but they emphasize Rolex. AP is not so widely distributed so there doesn't seem to be a list. Makes it less convenient to have confidence when shopping.

Another internet watch forum site features sponsors who are watch dealers. I imagine those dealers are reputable or they would not be sponsors. I have personal experience with one of them, Al Armstrong of Armstrong Rockwell, and trust him to be fair. Keep in mind that you will probably pay a premium through a dealer, but it should be a safe purchase.

I am new to this forum, but I have seen posts here asking for opinions on specific watches for sale and the excellent responses--that's on the Vintage Rolex section, but I imagine people on AP Forum would offer their opinions if you found a possibility and posted it prior to purchase.

Don't forget to handle an RB2 and try it on before going any further. When paying that much money for a watch you are going to wear you should make sure it fits and suits you.

Have fun.

It is a phenomenal watch and in person even more so! As for where--there are a few out there and you are looking at roughly $45-48k for one in mint condition. Keep in mind it is long sold out so no AD will have one. Best of luck...
