AP RO strap conversion question

So I've read thru a number of threads about adding a strap to your RO and the options. Here's what I've done and my questions.

I have the RO Day and Date, which I love by the way!

Bought the conversion kit from APBands along with a black strap. The plots took a lot of coercion to get in and that made me quite nervous but worked in the end. The strap I received looks great from a distance but the quality is not what I'd like. Also, the deployant buckle doesn't really work, doesn't match the watch closely, etc. Net - I want something more fitting for the watch.

I spoke to the AP boutique in NYC and they can sell me the following:
- black alligator strap w/ white stitch (spc order) 26.5 / 18 (I believe these are the rt dimensions per another thread)
- SS deployant buckle

They have told me they do NOT sell plots for the RO, presumably b/c they come with the watches that OEM straps are made for (precious metals). They also said they do NOT sell a rubber strap for the RO. The guy on the phone at AP had to step away about 5 times to ask questions to get thru this process so I'm quite nervous about it.

I have two questions:
1) will the above mentioned strap and buckle work with my conversion kit plots? Both items would be coming from Switz so there's no going back...and they aren't cheap. Another option would be to strip the plots from my SS bracelet, but I'm not sure if that is possible or worth it.
2) is there really no OEM rubber strap for an RO. Swear I've seen one around here.

Thanks for any and all guidance!

If the plots do work that you already have i wouldn't buy another pair from AP.
The OEM rubber strap i'm not 110% sure it would fit your Day and Date if you go with the original plots.

I'd give Clearwater a ring and tell them that you need following:

You need to order parts from the LE "City of Sails" in steel.

- Rubber Strap BR.403.064.002CA

- Folding clasp DP.0402.018.ST

- Alternative 18mm Tang AD.0288.018.ST

- 4 X Plots PL.222.014.ST

- 2 X Screws for strap VI.254.066.ST

- 2 X Nuts for screw above VI.253.056.ST

- 4 X Screws for attaching strap to case VI.254.023.BC

Thanks Thomas! Sounds like that covers the rubber strap and I should be good to go on the alligator from ap as well. I will give Clearwater a call.

Will these parts work for a 15300 or 15400 as well?

So then they'd fit the 26320 also (41mm chrono)?! I always figured the stuff made for 39mm wouldn't fit on 41mm...
