So, Toplaw, what is your experience and understanding is not mine when dealing with any of the ADs here, in India, in the UK or in Singapore.

They never stated they'd reduce more for bank notes that a CC swipe. And when I say CC I mean Visa.
With all my purchases at The Hour Glass in Melb, they took off 2% for payment via a bank cheque instead of using my credit card. When I'm spending $30k, that's an additional saving of $600.

Credit for me. The reward points from the credit card company sweetens the deal. By the end of the year, I'd rack up enough points to go on a nice vacation. :)

Cash.

If need to pay by credit card, i will make sure i have sufficient cash to pay off the bill once the statement comes.

I never paid for a luxury watch via instalment plan. it is just too scary :)
