Mistake for getting you go......

Letting my beloved daytona 116523 go...BUT replacement it with a 16613 - Serti......Not the same but not too bad...I guess.

Both are nice watches! I would pick the Submariner over the Daytona. Only because of the Daytona's dial. If it were a TT White or Black dial, I would probably lean towards the Daytona.

I'd pic the serti as well. SS SUB > SS DAYTONA
TT SUB = TT DAYTONA
YG SUB < YG DAYTONA
