AD, Greys, anything else?
A simple search on google for a DSSD 116660 comes up with multiple online retailers, many of which show no indication of being authorized dealers. Some even look like they have brick and mortar storefronts. The price of the BNIB DSSD was $10,900, well below the $12,050 I've seen at local ADs. I'm going to assume these are legit grey market dealers, no?

Only grey dealers sell on line no official Rolex dealer does, but there are many good grey dealers around and many have bricks and mortar stores. The only thing you will not get when buying grey is the Rolex two year warranty. But in my experience this is very seldom needed anyway, most grey have there own warranty. And after any grey warranty Rolex will be quite happy to take your money for normal routine service. And they will not care where you bought the watch or need to know. Myself would not have any problem buying grey and save some cash. Just buy the seller do your homework on them as these grey dealers have there reputation to upkeep, so in many ways grey is as good or better than most ADs price wise and sometimes customer service too.

Don't assume anything. If grey, contact a trusted seller.

No Authorised Dealer sells watches online, those selling watches online are either greys (who import their watches from overseas) or resellers (who sell watches originally sent to their domestic market). There are good guys and bad guys - never assume a place is legit. Do your homework, buy the seller, and if in doubt, move on. Remember, if a price is too good to be true, it probably is

I have seen The 116660 for £6650 (17% discount) from a grey dealer in the uk with full 2 year Rolex warranty. I think you just need to do your home work and you will be ok

Anybody ever hear of receiving a watch with a rubbed out serial number? Those days are over from reputable sellers?
