What type of rolex is this??

HII everyone, This is my first post. Been lurking every now and then. I recently got these 2 watches passed down to me. One being a rolex and other a Patek Philippe. But i would like to know a little more about them. I tried searching on google but gave up. I was hoping to find out how much they are worth at todays market value. I know i am new here, therefor i am not pushing a sale. Just would like to know some info on the pieces.

Looks to be a 50's Rolex Oyster. Model and serial numbers are on the sides of the case under the strap for further identification..

If authentic, probably around 900 bucks, give or take..

The Patek.. don't know enough about them to make a guess..

Can't find that particular dial in my references, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It could be a refinished dial as nice as it appears. Check for the reference number as mentioned.

All the info you need is right in front of you on the Rolex service certificate.

Assuming it's the real thing.

The Patek Calatrava is very nice. There are few listed on eBay. I expect the Patek is priced higher than Rolex but I would get the Patek in this case.

That's a very nice looking Rolex Oyster there with a beautiful arrow head markers dial. The dial is absolutely original as it has matching patinaed luminous dots at the hour markers. Furthermore, some may consider this dial a rare item since it does have an underline after "Oyster". Nice watch but value is around $1K plus/minus unless it's solid gold and not gold capped.

I would like to thank everyone who took the time to reply back to my post.

I tried looking under the bands and could'nt find a serial number. I took it to a local expert and he said its because its an older model. He qouted me no more than 1,500 for the watch. Thats at FULL retail. I just cant find any information anywhere online about the watch which is frusterating. He also mentioned it being a gold cap.

The service paper includes a reference # and the watch serial # which in this case indicates a 1990 model year.

Strangly enough it doesn't include model #, service date and owners name unless you erased them on purpose?

Great watches you have
Price used are about $700 to $1100 for the Rolex and about $4000 for the
Patek PHilippe.
Rolex serial E ? ...seems rare to me I would have expected
this ROlex to have been a serial much earlier/older than "E"

That's why I'm sceptic to this thread + the service warranty doesn't look right.

That "service" paper is worthless as is, and simply cannot be for that watch..

Did some research and got a couple of expert opinions, Watch is from the 1950's. Everyone here was correct on the estimate. 900,1100. its nothing special. Has a gold cap and non original band.
