My Daytona has gone!
For 10-12 weeks of servicing. I'm really worried. Just a couple of questions guys. I've been quoted £520 for a "standard service" cleaned oiled and gasket change but "the price will go up if there is anything else that needs replacing", I've given my phone number and my address and apparently I will be contacted. How will I get the Itemised bill where I can turn down any unnecessary recommendations? By post? I want to keep the tritium dial and hands and I don't fancy replacement costs for gold parts! I went to Watches of Switzerland btw Cheers.

RSC Dallas faxed it to me. Checked off what I wanted and faxed it back.
The only item I declined was the gold bezel exchange at a cost of $2300. Total bill with a new crown came to $925. This is all about a year ago now. |

Thanks for that. Hopefully I'll receive it by post. I've been assured that it's in the best possible hands but I'm still worried...

I bet its been a long 12 weeks. I have only used RSC in Dallas. The last piece I had in there was my 1963 Oysterdate and that took about 14 weeks which felt like forever. I think they usually only take 6-8 weeks but I was told due to the older watch I would have to wait longer for parts. Beautiful Daytona!

I used RSC Dallas this year and they emailed me the service invoice. It was for a simple warranty work and only took 4 weeks total time.
