Rain and my SD

Do I need to see a Dr. I went to the cinema this evening to see American Gangster. Well I had on a fleece the watch was past the cuffs so strutting her stuff. It started to rain as I left the car towards the cinema and so I quickly pushed my fleece cuff over the SD to protect it from the mere spots of rain, that wer'nt enough to dampen the floor. Now considering its depth rating, whats going on in my head. Help

I guess I shouldn't mention the shower it takes with me every day. I have the opposite problem, I try to get it wet every chance I can. I even stick my arm on the door of my car with the window down when it is raining b/c I like the look of it wet. I'm telling you, you are missing out on seeing all those little droplets of water beading up on the outside of the watch. I'm getting all excited just thinking about it.

Ambulance called, I've collapsed with a panic attack.

Well, I hope you come around before they cart you off in that thing. Do they strap you to the roof?

That my dear fellow, is a mercedes A class and is a rapid response vehicle. Gets to incidents quicker than a normal ambulance usually. When ambulance control heard of your insane behaviour, they immediately dispatched a quick response vehicle.

I reached into a clogged toilet with mine. My 3-year old likes to use too much TP. No worries.

I've always worn Seikos and Casios, so it would never occur to me to keep my watch dry.

No need to worry Jon.

Your only in early stages of the WIS condition...
Its when you get to this stage - that you really do need to call on one of your work colleagues help !!

My GMT II is a week old today... should I wash my hands with it on or just make a dash to the shower? hehe

A natural reaction as a WIS.
I look to get mine wet as much as possible, so your initial fears will pass and you will shower/bathe & swim at every oppurtunity once you are over it. Enjoy.

when i first bought my SD, i did exactly that...took it off when i showered or washed my hands.

three months now, and a couple of superficial scratches, watch stays on when doin' the deed.

gotta say, it does look fresh when its wet

btw, how did you like AMERICAN GANGSTER? i thought it was very good. IMHO, the movie "completed" itself by showing that last 15min or so towards the end...always a fan of bad cops going down.

I've been looking at other watch makers as I'm getting ready to pick up a GMT or pilot's watch.

Much to my astonishment, there actually are high end watches out there that you should remove before washing your hands so as not to get it wet. Even some so called "sports" watches.

Amazing.
