just back from AD visit, some new old stock

was just at an AD 1/2 hour ago. did not even know they were there til i heard a radio "spot" for them.

sales person showed me an anniversary sub. so it has been sitting there a few years.

definitely stocking up for xmas. over 60 rolex watches. no milgauss, but they took my name down to view the first green saphire they get.

also had a few p series datejusts as well.

prices ranged from retail down to a 10% discount.

great salesperson!

That's rather intriguing that he's still got the P-series DJs dating back to 2000~2001. Wonder why they aren't moving off the shelves?

And a "few years" old LV? I think the problem is that WISs in the immediate area don't know this AD exists. Apparently this AD hasn't benefitted from any of that $1000 per watch marketing plan.

sales person stated that are one of the largest ADs in the area, so they pass discounts they get from rolex.

This thread has got me thinking that Rolex do not retail every watch they produce as is so often claimed.
Why do so many find there way onto the gray market to be sold at discounted prices?
I doubt that all the AD's reatil all their stock every year, hence this guys stock.

Happen to have the name and phone of this AD? If that is against the forum rules, can you PM it to me? I am having trouble (impossible) to find the GMT IIc in my area of Atlanta.
