help please watch no longer winds
hi, i took the 3155 movement out of my 18238 president rolex to clean the case and of course the crown and stem out had to come out, i have done this before no problems. however, now when i put the crown and stem back and the movement in the case the day and date work but the watch does not engage in the winding position, it appears just to be slipping in that position. it cannot be manuallly wound.
I have heard about dislodging the Yoke or Yoke spring in other posts, have i likely done this or something bigger, how much do i have to pay to have it fixed now approx at an independent, is it a big job ? as i cannot fix the movement myself. thanks in Advance ?

Sounds like the slide pinion is off the setting yoke so the auto bridge plus winding bridge will have to come off reset the gear you should be good to go. All can be done with the movement in the case. Rikki
