The bird has landed!
well,
I want to thank everyone for their input on this.. I pulled the trigger on the AP Legacy. It was between this and the RG ROO RC that I also like, but in person, the legacy steals the show hands down IMO. pics just dont do this watch any good. its big, its bold, its ceramic which is just as scratch resistant as a saphire crystal.. the strap is made from kevlar, it has rosegold pushers and other parts, to be honest, I think it has the best of everything. so I went with the legacy. They only made 1500 so in the long run, I could always get a 44 RG ROO but not a Legacy. It is a monster of a watch and it has the DLC/PVD look, but i dont ever have to worry about scratches which is the best part. I was told this is the very first watch Audemars has ever done with the entire case ceramic. The ONLY thing that turns be off about the RG 44mm Roo is that it has stick markers instead of arabic numbers. I prefer the numbers. That's why I kept the choice between the refereshed RG ROO RC and The Legacy, anyways without further delay, here she is. "THE LEGACY" |

Awesome! Way to go with your heart. And it IS great to not have to worry about scratches. I just started a thread a week ago about how to avoid scratching one's new steel baby.
enjoy! |

Congrats. Excellent choice. You can do much more with that strap than with a giant rubber strap IMO. Definitely more versatile. The all black look with the rehaut in RG is also a sharp looking combination compared to the other model IMO. Also more versatile...

Thanks all for the kind words. I love the strap it came with, I ordered an extra just to be safe because they won't make this strap forever. The legacy also came with an addition strap in black croc which gives the watch a whole new look.
I read in an article online about the legacy that it's a military looking watch that has a splash of luxury to it with the rose gold accents. The size is what I love most about this watch. It's a whole lot of audemars. a couple people have commented on it already asking me if it was the new hublot king bang and I said no.. When I said its an AP, they got a little confused because of the size.. One of my favorite features on this watch are also the titanium accents and the HUGE oversized Ti buckle.. I'm very happy with the choice. |

Didn't realize it's so big. That makes the ceramic case even more useful. Congratulations.
