Gilt.com

A friend of mine pointed me to Gilt.com for something unrelated (shoes) and I noticed right on the main page, was a link to their vintage watch shop.

Anyways, I checked them out and they had some good pieces for decent prices. I didn't look into serials, so maybe they weren't that great but I saw a Sub, GMT II, Explorer, TT Sub, Yacht-Master etc... amongs other PAMs, Omegas, etc..

I felt the watches were overpriced and I addressed it here- https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=255453

IMO you can do a lot better from David, Tony or many of our other "trusted sellers".

Gilt isn't for watch collectors, it's for mindless fashionistas with too much money or credit and too little common sense.

Yup, they have vintage watch "sales" every now and then and I think Hodinkee sources them. The prices are terrible and Gilt isn't aimed at the watch collector so they apparently can get away with selling them at these prices.

I love that place for some nice shirts and shoes though! But watches, no way!
