First vintage, any concerns with this 16800?
Hello everyone. I'm looking at purchasing this as my first vintage Rolex.
http://rolexforums.com/showthread.ph...ighlight=16800 Not too concern about the lack of bracelet. The date disk looks like a replacement, the pearl may not be original to the watch. However, I believe the price seems fair given the above. Should I have any other concerns? Based on everything I've read, Jacek is one of the best vintage sellers. Any help/feedback would be much appreciated! Cheers and HAGWE! |

At $3900, the price is very reasonable. Original date discs are not hard to find. Nice, original bands start at around $800. If you like the leather strap, or have an original band looking for a watch, so much the better for you!

Golly, he matched the band to the lume color. That's showmanship. I think it's stunning. I have not been looking at 16800 but it seems like a good price. I met Jacek last week and bought a watch from him. I have worn it everyday since. Posted it on this forum and learned that it was previously owned by people on this site, giving the watch added charm.

Thanks for the feedback!
I kinda like this on a strap. I have a 14060 on bracelet and 14060LV is next on my list. |

Price is good, and very nice Patina.
I would leave that watch as is, dial, strap, luminova pearl, strap and all. I own two 16800's, they are a great value in my opinion.

Jacek is excellent, I've bought from him before. That 16800 is beautiful, wish mine had lume that color!
