Decision '08 Watches

If Hillary is elected in 2008, will she give up her Rolex? Will Bill go back to his Ironman?

American politicians often feel the need to connect with the average Wal-Mart shopper, so they wear cheap semi-American watches. They don't want to alienate the common man. So instead of wearing a Rolex or PP, they get their Timex VP, Yale classmate to make them a custom gold Timex. Bill Clinton frequently wore a Timex digital, but is now a bit of a WIS, preferring Panerai. Hillary Clinton currently wears a Rolex.

Everyone keeps saying that, but no one actually does it. The funny thing is that a Clinton administration would still be substantially to the right of the typical European government.

Go real easy gents, I can already see that self control is not going to be exercised along with common sense. This thread is one more "opinion" from being killed.

I think we should agree to mock all of the politicians, or none of them. Otherwise it becomes a polarizing thread.

I vote for mocking them all.

Works for me. That's the only way this thread will be kept alive.

We have an election this weekend for a new (or the same) Prime Minister in Australia.
I think it is killing the exchange rate because it has slipped against the Euro and it is killing me

Sure. Tell you what, I'll lend you my copy and you can lend me your SS Daytona.

Heck, you can even keep the magazine!

Seriously, though, of course you can read it.
