Thanks all.
For those who asked, you can see the latest clasp used for the 15300 in these pictures: |

How is that different from their older clasp design? I thought the 15400 had a different design but wasn't aware of any changes on the 15300.
Either way, congratulations on the RO! Within the last few weeks I got this exact watch and have been unable to wear any of my other watches since. Wear in good health! |

Big congrats my friend! The dial and the polishing is definitely dancing under different lighting conditions!
The newer clasp feels slightly more solid when I handled the 15400. However, I still prefer the old 'AP' style clasp aesthetically.

Congratulations. Great catch.
I'd be very interested to hear how you get on with the clasp as I seem to remember some owners commenting on the previous clasp and how it dug into the wrist. This new one looks quite chunky. I still think AP have made a huge mistake deleting the 15300. It's a bit like when Rolex dropped the Sea Dweller for the Deep Sea. Should have kept both in production.

Congrats on a beautiful watch! Now, if you want a 39 mm RO you need to go with the Classic 15202. That is up next on my wish list for next year!

I am also dreaming of getting an AP 15300 with black dial. Anyone knows where to get a new one? Thanks!
