Just Saying Hello
Stumbled across the forum while researching restoration of my dads 6263. It's coming along now - hopefully be done soon and I can share some pictures. On another welcome subject, I purchased a Sub C from a TRF member - really looking forward to it! My first "New' Rolly - after a few C.A.W. (Chinese Audition Watches... grin...).... Anyhow, stepping up in the world!

Well - Until I Get The Sub C... I'm just sitting here in the pot sub-marinating!
 I know more about the CAWs than I need to - there are forums for that too - very similar - more men than women (for some reason my wife can't explain to me). Chris Salay TenTen watch is working on the Daytona restoration. It's about half way done - we needed a balance staff and the redialing should be finished momentarily. Will share photos as he has them.... It was my dads my whole life that I knew him - he passed in 1999 - a very 20th century man - Dec 29th, 1999 to be exact. The watch had some moisture damage - Chris is sorting it out. |
