16610lv F Series (Pre-owned) or 16610lv Z series (Unworned)
newbie here :)
I am on my way to buy my first rolex... I decided to buy 16610lv 50th anniversary model... but, right now i am in between of two models... F series, production year: 2003, this watch is pre-owned and in mint condition... Z series, this watch is unworn... they are both at the same price... which one would you choose? waiting for your help... Thanks... |

The true first edition if you will true 50th anniversary LV Sub is the Y serial number. Rare and pricey.
If it were me I would get the unworn new Z. |

Does the "F" have all the accessories?
If the "F" has all the earliest features, I would opt for this one! |

The real question is are you going to keep it or sell it later? That was a question I asked myself before I bought mine. Like most on this fourm I bought the seller. I decided to go for an M serial number with an engraved RolexRolexRolex, so I would wear it. I originally wanted a Y, but knew if I did it wouldn't get much time out of the winder. I wanted to own the watch and not the watch own me. This is just my personality. What ever you buy, wear it and enjoy. Oh yeah the M still had the stickers on it and I bought it through my favorite AD (in their pre loved section) last month at Fourtane in Carmel Ca.

If the F serial is unpolished and really in mint condition I would pick that one.
Otherwise IŽd take the new Z serial, nice watch indeed. |

I prefer a Sub without Rehaut engraving...I would lean to the F serial.
