Help in Identification
I am having a hard time finding an exact model match on this Rolex. Anyone know? I have found one similar with a white watch face, but as you can see in the photos, this one has a shell like material. I am pretty sure it is a President.
Any help would be awesome! |

It is a day-date with president bracelet... And serti mother of pearl dial...
Not sure about the dial and if it ever came out in that combo...probably yes.. The rehaut engraved puts it into the 2003 or after I believe... ps: the lower left lug is thinner than the other one....

Is it just me or is the Cyclops looking strange?

Ah ha!
"Mother of Pearl", that was exactly the term I needed to continue my search. Do you think this is the match?

Hard to tell from the photos, but it might be the rose gold 118235. But yes, mother of pearl diamond dial is the one you want

very hard to tell, are the lugs brushed or polished as in the first photo the lugs look brushed 18238 and the second photo 118238 with polished lugs, why in the second photos is the day written upside down, the photo cropped and a different background, a bit of photo shopping going on ? hmmm are these the same watch or did you pluck photos off the net, explain the day upside down please its not a reverse image otherwise everything would be backwards?

no fraud :)
LOL, no. I can guarantee you that the photos are mine and not photoshopped. The date was upside down because what you are seeing is the reflection since I took the picture at an angle.
The lugs are not brushed, so it is probably safe to assume it is a 118238 with the mother of pearl watch face. Does the mother of pearl add any additional value? |

These threads always strike me as odd. The last set of pics help though. I'm sure our resident guru's will help.

Well, im glad to see the additional pics, but really curious about the reflection and upside down day, dont think ive ever seen anything like that.
Here check out this website, as they show the retail prices (I think they are current), and you can compare your model to others: http://www.jomashop.com/roda18kyegow1.html

The OP was asked via PM to send me pictures of the watch with his username and today's date written on a piece of paper next to it.
Since reading this request he has gone offline. OP you have limited time to do this. It takes a few minutes to take a pic and upload it as requested. Issues have been raised here and TRF will not risk any inconsistencies of this kind being pointed out and not immediately explained. It may well be fine but unless I hear from you shortly your membership here will expire. Ignoring a PM from a moderator is not a good move.

In the #8 post where he retakes the pictures if you view the exif data it shows the pictures were taken today with a iPhone4. The day is upside down because that's a reflection of the day-wheel in the day-aperture frame or housing.

still a bit of a strange post, but not really I guess if the watch was handed down to him or something.
