Explorer 2 Leather strap query

Guys

I have new Explorer 2 and am very pleased indeed with this watch, which compliments my 1680 Sub very nicely.

Was considering putting it on a leather strap at some point, possibly NATO style.

I noticed the custom HTE version that has been fitted with a two piece vintage leather strap. Was just wondering if anyone had any idea on the source of that strap? Also, as the new Explorer does not have lug holes, presumably fitting and removing such a strap would be fairly difficult? Grateful for any thoughts?

Thanks

You can find some nice vintage leather straps, either two pieces or nato here: http://www.wotancraft.com/shop/strap...lassic-sww-006
These are made from an authentic WWII military rucksack bag.

You should buy a spring bar remover on ebay to help you take the spring bar on and off easier. There are many on ebay for a few dollars. I just bought one a few days ago and waiting for it to arrive.
