Old garage sale tudor

My mom got this watch at a garage sale
Before she died. The watch has a tudor shield
At the 12 position. It is called todor princess
Oysterdate. Rotor self winding and in small print
At the bottom is Swiss. There are numbers between
The numbers start with a 7. I can't tell the
Other numbers the band is in the way. I know
That the band is garbage. But I don't know about
The watch. When I am using this watch
It works very well. When I sit it down for a
Few weeks it does stop. But as long as I
Wear it It works fine. I don't want to sell it
But would like to use it with a better band.

Is it worth putting a new leather band on it. I will
Try to post picks. Tries to post pics but it wouldn't let me
