Opinion on this watch (HELP)
Any idea if it is possible to salvage this watch (cost)
In the current state, what is it worth? Is it a rare model? Thank you

i would wear it as is.not worth spending more than $500 to get it running. to restore it? will not lead to any profit. if sentimental; go for a full frame-off!

I have the possibility to buy it. It is in working conditions, but would like to send it Rolex USA to get it restored. Just wonder what this model is worth? Thanks

Worth $12-1500. Don't waste money restoring it.

I'd say in this condition the watch is worth around $900-$1000 on a good day. I wouldn't buy this piece. It appears the dial was refinished at some point. The speedking isn't rare really. A few have been for sale lately.

wear it as-is if it is cheap enough.
could it be a manual winder? These never really hold much value (pls dont confuse this with any rolex manual chronograph) |

A full service will make this watch look pretty sharp. "Restoration" sounds expensive, and probably won't be worth the effort. That dial does look a bit odd and the endpieces don't fit real well, but for the right price, this is still a neat watch.
