AP RO bracelet resizing
Hi all
New to this forum & AP, just bought my first AP from an out of state AD. Since it will arrive very soon I'm thinking about the bracelet job. Is it easy/possible to get it done by myself? If so what's the right tool for it? Or I should just let my local AD do it Will post pics when the new baby arrive and thank you guys in advance |

It is possible to do, but you may wish to Get it done to avoid any marks. I do my own but I've done it for a few years and did not start on AP watches ;-).

All you need is patience, a 1.40 mini screwdriver and a torch lighter in case the loctite makes it hard for the screw to come out. One good thing about you doing it, is that if the link gets a little bit scratched at least it was your fault instead of an incompetent guy at the AD screwing up your watch and not doing anything about it.

Anyway, this is of course correct and it's also why I do this myself.... I find it easier to deal with my own mistakes regarding my own stuff then someone elses mistakes with my stuff ;). I'd recomend a good screwdriver make for the job, but just for this mostly anything will be good enough truth be told.. |
