Selling without warranty just doesn't make one very excited for a 25% discount.

I'm sorry an over whelming amount of you feel the 25% off isn't a good deal for these watches.
I've never been in the market for a model outside the "Sports" line so I don't know what type of deals are out there for these models. The AD called me regarding the Sub. as that is a watch I have been lusting for years; I purchased one via TRF, so when they called and told me about the sale, I asked for the list so I could pass it along. I don't have any control over the discount, and as I said originally, I have nothing to gain from this post. Next time I see a sale going, I'll keep it to myself unless they are buy one, get one free or something similar on Sport models only since, apparently, every other Rolex model is practically given away from the AD on a daily basis. |

I know that maybe 25% on a gold or tt piece may not be a "steal" for something with no warranty but i know that there some rolex buyers on here that hear the word discount and the letters AD are not what pops into their head. Goes both ways i guess. But don't dismiss the OP for trying to help out, especially when he has nothing to gain other than helping out a friend (AD) and fellow TRF members. Thanks for sharing Tyler.

Thanks for the heads up. It seems you were just trying pass on word of what you thought was a good deal and that is appreciated.

What is "NOS" that somebody above referred to? Does 2 year Rolex warranty really mean that much? How likely is it one of these watches will require service in the first 2 years anyhow? I think 25% + is pretty good. Look at Ebay or even TRF for Rolex. Used pieces are sometimes not much better than 25% for pre-owned and several years old.
My concern is the list posted by Stang has a lot of F D and Z serial numbers. Have they been holding these in their vaults for years unsold? How will that possibly affect future resale? |
