Vintage Rolex 6234 authenticity

My siblings and i have been looking for a vintage rolex to buy our father for his 60th. I've found a 6234 and i've got the seller to agree to $14500 which seems to be considerably lower then most similar models. His ad stated that the dial has been refinished but that all other parts are original. We are not experts and would really appreciate the help so if anyone sees anything suspicious in the pics below please let us know.

Thanks in advance

I can't verify it, but I like where you are coming from getting this for your father

Does that mean the bracelet might not be authentic? I apologize for my lack of knowledge, but the band is what also made me a little nervous. Although when I searched for 6234 and other vintage rolex models I did see bands that appeared to be very similar.

Sorry, I am not an expert. It is just a simple sight appreciation.

Why would you pass on the watch all together if I may ask?

It looks like a 19mm band on a watch that should have a 20mm band.

If he got a bad replacement band, what else is bad that he replaced?
