5 December walk

The light was bad, but I made a walk anyway.

Here the results...

Again, Nice shots Gerard!
You really do live in a very photogenic part of the world!

I like the black and white one a lot, and the horse with two heads made me laugh.

Gerard, you say at the start of your post that the light was bad.

The light is not too much to worry about. The colors are still there, and they can be easily brought up in PS.

Let's take a look at this one image.
Since it was gray outside, the images tend to look underexposed. Always check your levels.
In PS, you go to Image---> Adjustments--->Levels.

Your levels are supposed to stretch from one end to the next. Extreme left is pure black, extreme right is pure white.

As you can see, your image is underexposed. :-/ You camera made the wrong guess.

Not to worry. Just drag the slider on the right towards the right end of the little graph, and show PS where your pure whites need to be.

That's all!

All you might want to do if so desire, is to increase the saturation some in order to make the colors pop.
Image--->Adjustments---->Hue/Saturation.

So without a degree in Rocket Science, two simple steps can restore the light into an image taken on a "gray day". :-/
