Like I said... just ordered at the beginning of October. Can't wait! My AD said it will probably arrive by Christmas. Well, at least it will be a nice Christmas gift if you will.

The glidelock clasp alone on the SubC goes for $1,600+ on the used market, enough said.

@rolexperfect, new 166610LN is a very good decision. I ordered mine 116610LN a week ago at my AD. I will get SubC in the middle or at the end of January 2013. Nearly two month and a half to wait?! But why do we have to wait so long for new SubC? Because of the Christmas and New Year or is this watch just so popular???

So glad you don't go for this one because that dial is FAKE. The indice surrounds (white gold on a real 116610) are too thick. They look like inner tubes...

The € 5,900 one I was wanting to buy was from a scammy company from Berlin called Tom boom store http://www.tomboom-store.com/ There's so much people having problems and suing them. So I am glad that I found that out on Qype (a review site that's quite popular here in Germany).

Well I am about to make a wire transfer to this person.

Here's the watch. Seems to be new and legit. What you guys think? (maybe the stickers were pulled off before around the case? well... should it matter, or it's just me being OCD?)

Thanks a lot

ps. pics from the actual watch

I read the post you made and replied in there! It's just really bad that in Europe things are like that. I remember in Toronto I tried one on, they have the LV, LN, etc... But in no city here in Germany I've ever seen one on the window shop!

Patience and looking forward to your pics when it comes the time!

WOW. Are you sure it's fake and that Rolex didn't have an older version / serie for the 116610 with thicker indice surrounds? This guy said that it was coming from his friend's AD in Greece. Weird. Let me know so I can report him on the German forum Watchlounge!

Cheers!

Yes, the dial is definitely fake. The indices are too thick, but the dead giveaway is the lettering for "1000ft = 300m". Close examination will show that the number font is wrong, the general spacing, thickness and quality of the printing is poor compared to the real thing.
