If you hadn't posted this I would have found it difficult to believe there would have been an "F" serial on a credit card style warranty.

I think the TOG is now discontinued but today nothing is written in stone with Rolex.

Why its quite possible Rolex had a group of old cases already stamped its just a normal DJ case so just used them up for the short run of TOG for Japanese market.Just like when they released the so called Random there were a few strange single letter serials around M G plus a few others on new watches.Today nothing is written in stone with Rolex and no Internet based chart can be regarded as 100% accurate when any watch was made, same could be said with the movement thats in the case..

I have a 115234 D serial with the credit card style warranty as well. I thought, in my case is normal given the 34mm model is not the high selling model. I found out that AD had to order it from RSC because I wanted a specific dial and the AD did not have it.

Learning new info all the time.

Great looking TOG.

and the "F" serial number is engraved in the rehaut.

I believe the engraved rehaut did not begin until the D serial number. So an F with an engraved serial number rehaut. How cool is that!

I love the LTD addition that was released overseas with the green date wheel & second hand.

I believe it is discontinued at least in the form we know
because it is not included in the 2012-2013 new store catalog

The TOG is a hard watch to sell especially in steel & gold
But...You have to admit... this is such a Clever marketing move for
unsold F and D and possibly more serials.

Add a Green date wheel, a Green hand, make it a 300 limited
edition with a credit card waranty - Japan only - and a big "packet"
of unselables (?) become super collectibles - flying out of the Rolex stores instantly.

Do you see why I love Rolex ?

All the new case DateJust , including all "new" Tog got the engraved rehaut. It started at Basel 2004 , and at this time s/n letter was commonly an F .

Here's a 2004/5 master catalog illustration of a new (at this time) DJ . Engraved rehaut is clearly visible :

And here's a DavidSW picture of an F serial "standard" TOG :
