Rolex ref.1002 or Rolex Air-King Ref 14000M from 2001?
Hi!
I`m new to this forum and as per the title, I`m thinking of buying a Rolex since until now I`ve been only a Breitling and Baume&Mercier owner. So, which would you recommend of the two? Both in very good condition, almost NOS, both SS with bracelet. Diference of 400 euros in favour of the Air King... Thanks! |

The 1002 has acrylic crystal and 14000M has sapphire if it matters to you.
If cindition is same, I'd prefer the 1002 myself

Just a personal preference for the OP vs AK. Had an Air-King and wasn't that happy with it.
But you should go with the one that makes you happier

Well if you like it, and it's genuine, and it runs fine, then yes!

Oh, I just love it since I am a NAUI OW diver...and for shure it`s genuine, I`ve checked with the most famous watch sellers in Bucharest (Horologiuvm), done etancheity tests and vibrograph test on it, everything OK. But since I`ve read and seen a lot of them, I have been shure it`s a genuine only looking at the mouvement of the sweeping hand..But the seller opened the case for me and then it was no doubt...genuine 3135.
Thanks for all the good advises and I`m proud to be a genuine member now. Lucian |
