^ , Why is it so expensive?
prices start at 3x,xxx USD and goes higher. No offence, but its a SS watch am i right? Or is there some significant history piece attached to this model? cheers. |

Rolex no longer sells that reference. If you've found one for $30K+ that's because the seller thinks a vintage collector is willing to pay that.
They were not popular in the day, so fewer exist, hence they are more rare. This affects price. Yes they are stainless steel. (no offense taken) The history is that they were (one of?) the first anti-magnetic watches. The Milgauss was specifically created at the request of CERN. |
