'58 6422 Dial Question
I've been looking for a vintage watch on and off for about 5 years. Finally pulled the trigger.
My question is about the text on the dial. Do you think it was redone at some point? It does not look like what I have seen on others from the same time period. Here are the pics. Internals are pics from the seller. Yes, the dial has definatly been refinished. That's why the text looks off.

Thanks for the responses.
Another question, with the 1210 movement, which way should the hands turn relative to the crown when setting the time? As in, when I turn the crown clockwise, should the hands be moving clockwise as well? |

I'm not all to familier with the cal 1210 movement, however I do believe that when you turn the crown clockwise, the hands should turn counterclockwise. That's how it is with most vintage watches. all of the vintage watches I own ( exept for my 1968 timex waferthin) have this feature.
