Personally, I love the TT version more.....but if it's on a daily basis you're looking for, get the SS model. Good luck either way - JJ

I've worn a TT Sub for years as my daily piece.. A TT GMT wouldn't be far off.
I have only just recently semi-retired it, probably because I'm retired now myself, and don't have a big office with a bunch of meetings to go to any more.. I find the SS models very comfortable and a bit less "formal" you might say.. I think it's a personal decision....I would not feel comfortable in solid gold, but the TT suits me just fine.. |

I've worn the TT every day since I got it. Whatever floats your boat. They both look great.

I wear my TT everday. It's not too flashy, but I do sometimes worry about scratching the gold. I guess it comes down to your preference.

As everybody has allready stated the choice of SS vs. TT for a daily watch is quite personal.
I favor the TTs and I wear mine all day long, each and every day. I do find that the gold on the TT's gives the watch a more complete look;IMHO opinion ofcourse! |

The TT is beautiful. What is your line of work. If it's rugged stuff then maybe the SS. If it's an office environment then the TT.

I wear my TT GMTII-C on a daily basis. IMHO, juz the right amount of 'bling' to be noticed but definitely not 'in your face' type of loudness.
Enjoy! |

I have the SS and TT GMT IIc and find myself going to the SS more often; however, I think the TT is a better looking watch. Go figure. The gold does scratch easier. The clasp on my TT has gotten a few desk jockey scratches.
Which ever one you should choose you will be happy with. |

The SS has many merits, but I'm thinking that in your situation the TT maybe the best option. SS is more a tool watch, but a TT works better as a casual and semi-dress watch in my view.

I like the SS more, I think it is more versatile with wardrobes and occasions. Of course, TT is less common and stands out more.

For an everyday beater I'd prefer a STEEL Rolex every time!

If your afraid of scratshes, get an old GMT II or an Explorer II. Otherwise get a GMT IIc ss!
